I guess it takes someone as big as MS to get the ICANN folks to consider blocking these IP addresses.  OpenDNS does this for free as part of their free service to consumers.  If you haven’t looked at OpenDNS you are missing a great service.  Do you need to block categories of web sites in your home from your children?  …from Adware? or from Porn?  …this is a great solution that you can tune besides using the default settings.

I fear that the Conficker worm is here to stay for some time until the Anti Malware and Anti Virus orgs get together to help the consumers and business people by limiting Malware from inside the internet.
